We are getting ready to begin our new homeschool year — and I couldn’t be more excited.
Our eldest is starting Kindergarten, so this year already feels more “official” compared with our preschool years at home.

I used to teach elementary school, and after leaving the classroom to stay home with our children I still feel that familiar tug when back-to-school season arrives. I genuinely miss certain parts of being a teacher — and planning is one of them.
As someone who loves organizing and preparing, creating a plan for the year is something I really enjoy. I may be a little unusual, but planning brings me joy.
